The Cities Association bylaws establish the Legislative Action Committee (LAC).

Each city appoints a representative and an alternate to LAC.

Each city receives one vote.
The purpose of LAC:

Enable the Cities Association to advocate on issues of mutual interest
-
The ommittee provides basic legislative updates to cities with little or no legislative staff.

The committee organizes emergency responses to urgent issues.
LAC meets as needed before the Board of Directors meetings.
